Impreza RB5 remapped with Alcatek ecu for track use

A call for help to remap this fine example of an RB5… Having had a cam belt that was incorrectly fitted and was 4 teeth out as you can imagine the car was running very poorly and to be honest was lucky that there was no contact with pistons and valves.

Chris Palmer Autos in Bristol were asked by the new owner to sort it out – changing the cam belt revealed the problem which once rectified needed a remap to the Alcatek ecu to help it run sweetly.  I do the remapping for CPA so was there to help get the RB5 running as it should be.

With some subtle but effective modifications such as VF34 turbo, front mount intercooler and simple fuel system upgrades the power output is now estimated at around 330bhp and should be a really effective track toy.
